I enjoy helping my local chapter of Habitat for Humanity when I'm not at the racetrack. I feel that volunteering my time for such a just cause is a rewarding experience and offers an opportunity to meet great people in my community.

--Habitat for Humanity International brings families and communities in need together with volunteers and resources to build decent, affordable housing.

--It is a Christian organization and welcomes volunteers from all faiths who are committed to Habitat's goal of eliminating poverty housing.

--Houses are sold with no profit made. Home owners contribute "sweat equity" and house payments are recycled to build additional houses.

The nation's emergency response organization has distinguished itself by aiding victims of devastating natural disasters, providing community services, processing & distributing lifesaving blood products, support for military members and their families, and creating international relief & development programs while always aiming to prevent and relieve suffering.

I donate blood on a quarterly basis and feel that I'm making a potential lifesaving contribution.

ONE is a new effort by Americans to rally Americans - ONE by ONE - to fight the emergency of global AIDS, extreme poverty, and hunger. The ONE Campaign is an awareness-raising movement which asks us each to use our influence as citizens in the wealthiest country on the planet to speak up for the poorest of the poor around the globe.

I've added my signature to the One Declaration and am proud to be using the sport of racing to bring awareness to the campaign.
