The
Nascar Nationwide Series is the top professional
championship in Nascar's ladder system. The Nascar Nationwide Series holds races in conjunction with Sprint
Cup events and often times has drivers from Nascar's
top division competing. This allows the Nascar Nationwide Series drivers
to test and show their skills against the sport's
elite. Full television coverage
consists of live practice, qualifying, and races aired
by Speed Channel along with a variety
of follow-up TV programs previously mentioned in the Truck
Series demographic above plus a dedicated show
called NBS 24/7. Races are replayed during the
week by means of a program called Nascar Fast-Forward.
The
Nascar Craftsman Truck Series is a top-level professional
feeder championship. Full television
coverage that includes live practice, qualifying,
and races aired by Speed Channel. It
also receives dedicated attention in follow-up TV programs
such as: Nascar Nation, Nascar
Live, Nascar Performance, Speednews
Nascar Edition, and Trackside.
Trucks are taller and have a longer wheelbase than the
Sprint Cup cars, thus enhancing drafting and resulting
in spectacular racing.
This
is a new championship that is replacing the FIA Formula
3000 International Championship as the top support
series during Formula 1 race weekends. These
cars are the closest thing to F1 and
by showing quick pace and the ability to win here, drivers
can make a strong case for a F1 ride. The world
media is all over this championship and presents an opportunity
to advertise internationally and forever be remembered
as the sponsor who brought up the next F1 champion.
This
is the support series for the Indy Racing League's Indy
Car Series. Pro Series races are held just before
the major race of the weekend. The biggest and most prestigious
race in the series is the Freedom 100, which is
held before the Indianapolis 500 with a full live broadcast.
The series has 1 hour race broadcasts of the 4
road course events and 30 minutes of coverage for the
oval events on ESPN2 and is
distributed worldwide through ESPN International.

This
series is the top rung of the North American Renault
Championships and is sanctioned by the Grand
American Rolex Sports Car Series. The 12 race
schedule will give sponsors and drivers the opportunity
to race at spectacular tracks, in front of very
large crowds. Support races will be held with
both Formula 1 and Champ Car
during the season. All races are televised on
Eurosport in 54 countries and over 95 million homes.

30 minute race coverage with mid-week replays

coverage by the most popular racing magazine
in the world, Autosport. The 2 biggest
races in the world of F3 are the non-points "showdowns"
of Zandvoort in the Netherlands and the
presitgious Macau Grand Prix. The series'
considered most competitive are stepping stones into Formula
1.
This
series acts as a support series for sanctioning bodies
that includes the American LeMans Series,
USAC, and Formula 1. It features
coast-to-coast television coverage to all of North
America via Speed Channel. It
is given an hour-long broadcast that
includes many feature stories. There are also
programs in other countries doing TV coverage of all events
such as: the United Kingdom,
Venezuela, and Chile.
The Championship consists of a 12 race schedule and is
considered 1 of 3 main breeding grounds for tomorrow's
stars.
